Forlorn Dimension

My First Day at Work

As usual i finished my dinner and went upstairs preparing to have some entertainment not knowing what fate would bring me. Just when i was about to start an anime my parents told me that i have to help out at my father's stall today. I said ok....... while my brain is thinking WHY WHY HOW COULD THIS BE!!!!! I have been busy for the whole holiday and wanted friday to rest where i can stretch my legs, wrapped myself in my blanket and Zzzzzzzzzz until the sun heat up my skin till a temperature which is high enough to alert my brain to get up.

Despite being a hawker's son, i have never been to the stall and help=.= well... you can't blame me for that, i have been sooooo busy "eng siu"ing my friends in msn that i can't go out and help :P:P:P(friends just joking, please don't kill me:P) Luckily, my cousin who sometimes go and help came to my house yesterday. Thus, i quickly ask her everything i need to know, i was so afraid that i would mess things up. I asked a lot from what to do, what should i NOT do and is there anything that i should take special care of. I am not good in doing certain things and i do hope this wouldn't be one of it and end up screwing up everything and I'm glad i asked:P She did gave me a lot of info and i really need to say thank you(semi-sincerely:P)

Let's cut the waking up part and move on to the workspot. There i was standing and waiting for my father to start up everything. As i saw him piling up the cakes my mouth couldn't help but water. However i do restrict myself as i am on a diet. WHY? Well...... my relatives say that i am getting fatter T.T I took a clipper like thingy and pile up the cakes like a pyramid. Business started fast as there's customers coming as early as 750am. My job is not an easy task as you can see there is a total of nine steps, working sure ain't easy. 1.) ask what they want 2.)listen to what they want 3.)pick what they want 4.)pull a plastic bag 5.)throw(put) the cakes into it 6.)pass it to them 7.)count the price 8.)tell them the price 9.)RECEIVE THE MONEY $$$ $$$ $$$ $$$ $$$

You need nine skills to do all the above
1.)I need to be polite:P ( i am "always" polite, don't worry, no problem here:P)
2.)You need a good hearing
3.)You need to fiddle with the clipper like thingy and pick the cakes without applying too much force or you might end up with a teared cake=.=
4.)some of the bags tend to stick together and you will have to deal with that
5.)I need great accuracy to throw the cakes into the bag
6.)I need to pass it while thinking of $$$ Multitasking ain't easy
7.)Who thinks addition and multiplication is easy=.= i have to plus and times 50 cent and 60 cent. This consumes a lot of brain power you know=.=
8.)I have to make sure that i counted it correctly or else i might either scare away the customer or suffer losses=.=
9.)My favourtie part, who don't like to receive money:p but it is not mine=.=
P.S. some cakes requires chili sauces and a paper to absorb the oil now that is one extra step=.=

See, i told you it ain't easy, there are sooo many steps involved and i am not a clever guy who learn things fast:P

After working for three to four hours i went somewhere to have lunch, chicken rice and loh bak are NICE. Well maybe i earn around rm 10 but after that i went to prangin mall and spent RM35 on discs and cds=.= A great way to spend huh=.= The PS2 is brought to life when i reach home. Some time for a game is definitely needed to relief my TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF STRESSSSSSSSS

Athough reluctant to help at first but i felt satisfied. Either it is the fact that i work or..... i work for rm 10 and spend rm 35 :P:P Now that i finished writing this with some doses of sarcasm(not venom) I should move on to wonder what should i do next.
